Just received my Hola yesterday, and I mean just wow. You no longer have to pay for good tuning in 2023. A cheap unit tuned well is a better buy than a unit with expensive components tuned in a way you don't like.

I would say the signature is "subdued neutrality with slight bass boost". It's not bright, even though female vocals are capable of just a touch of bite. This should offend very few people.

Sure, everything is less refined (and it feels like slightly more veiled, and there is no sense of space, like on better sets where there is a sense of "oh something's happening here". The bass is merely adequate, it feels like listening to a 150 dollar sub at a reasonable gain rather than a 1500 one, and you're not going to get the correct timbre on the low bass)

but for 20 bucks it's a phenomenal buy and the fact that I am able to enjoy the music on these shows that tonality > technicality.
