I don't think making the IEM nozzle in a oval shape is patented, you can always try that or just pay royalties

I guess the manufacturing cost must be very high. Probably the real reason so few manufacturers have developed the oval shape.

No way. How does manufacturing oval-shaped eartips differ from circular shaped ones?
They are just IE800 compliant tips, thats all. An IE800 isn't cheap, so why should extra eartips be cheap.

The 4 has 4 drivers and the 6 has 6. The two extra BA should give it a different sound probably more clarity and resolution and possibly separation
