$130 for hd25-1 II

One customer review mentioned that the product that ships only has a single strap.  Should I go for it?

I just checked the sellers, and it's amazon themselves running that price! All the other sellers are charging the usual price, so that means it's 50/50. You can always send it back, and since it's mislabeled they pay the return shipping.

it's worth a shot, especially with amazons return policy, order placed

just checked it out on amazon & its says  HD25SP-II at the product details:item model number so your guess is as good as any. if its the SP then its competitive with ebay vendors & available regularly but its def a score if its the HD25-1 II as shown on the header pic.

its returnable so whats the risk. dang even my fingers are starting to itch....bad fingers bad hands

Yes it does seem to be the SP version, which from what I know only has a single headband.  That means the pic is wrong.  Thanks for pointing that out scottiebabie.  Is the dual headband better?

I might as well jump on the adidas versions that are on amazon for $200.

i believe both versions have the exact same driver with the HD25-1 having the dual headband, different (&better as i hear) cable attachment positions & spare velour/fabric earpads. worth the extra $30 or so IMO plus i hear the SPs cable is prone to failure due to its loose dangling attachment.

however the adidas HD25-1 are an ...ahem...acquired taste

 to say the least. heh

I had both the HD25-1 and the SPs and the difference is night and die. The difference is enough that I find it hard to believe that they use the same drivers. The headband of the HD25-1 is also far superior and gives amazing isolation that rivals that of IEMs. Getting the HD25-1 over the SP is a no brainer at $30 more.

Technical spec says HD25 SP 2 the Description of the item is HD25-1 ii which means they are false advertising and must send you the HD25-1 ii in the Uk atleast you would be able to make them send you the ii not sure about the USA.

Good luck though i hope you all indeed get the HD25-1 ii because they are amazing for what they are.

Says nothing about them being HD25-1 SP's in the main item description unless you look under Technical specs, If this happened in the UK they would have to send the HD25-1 II, As once the Trader has taken your money and Dispatched they are in a Contract of Sale and are obligated to fulfill as advertised in this case the HD25-1 II, Description means nothing as it's hidden and isn't in view of the main sales page.

The specs read like a bad ebay auction.

Yeah, based on my bad experiences with counterfeit ESW9's- I just avoid these situations all together.

It says "sell and shipped by amazon" so, IDK, maybe OP wants to take the chance, and later claim a refund, or what Nat said lol
