I'm biting the bullet... Head-fi has eaten up my entire day, looking at reviews of different IEMs and DAPs... I just have to decide on a setup!!! Am I doing the right thing Head-Fi?
Out of the JHA Roxannes, JHA 16s, JHA 13s and JHA Angie, I have gone for the Angie. From what I've read, I haven't heard the best things about the Roxannes, and the Angie's seem brighter and have a better separation than the 13 or 16.
Out of the DX90, Fiio X5 and AK models, I have chosen the X5. Ak is just too pricey for me, and I really need the HD space to accommodate my lossless library, which is why the 256gb card space in the X5 suits me.
What do you think Head-fiers? Good choices? Bad pairing?
Also, any recommendations on the JHA cables would be great... Should I go for the Silver Dragon? Or the default cables are fine?
