New earphones from Tin Hifi that according to the youtube-clip should be viewed as a rival to the Moondrop Chu. Described by Tin Hifi as an upgrade from Tin Hifi T1 Plus. I noticed that unlike the Moondrop Chu this one has a 2-pin replaceable cable. :)

"TinHiFi T1S Beryllium Earphone Debuts as a Rival to the Moondrop CHU Earphone"
"*Upgrade From T1Plus
*Beryllium Plated Diaphragm Earphone
*Ergonomic, Wear Without Feeling
*Hifi Grade Earphone Cable
*Eye-Catching Look"

its less then half the price, the problem is that for the letshouer S12 and Timeless 7Hz are both better and also are in the same ballpark. the S12 is 170 dollars and the timeless is 220 (US price, no taxes), i would say the S12 is the better option of the 3 for the time being but new planars are being introduced in the sub 200 dollar mark all the time, even Tin Hifi introduced the P1 MAX which is better then the P2 and costs $169

In other words, its a good deal if you want a P2 specificly since its retail is 350, but its a horrible deal if you want a planar IEM, the fact that its expensive dosnt mean its worth its price.

Already got the p1, and I tried the s12 (probably get it on the near future) but I read about the midbass punch of the p2...

Thanks for the response mate.

The Panda is absolutely amazing. The fact that I finished my review and I have soo/too many IEMs, you would think I would stop listening. The character is truly first rate. These sound way too good for the price asked. They are totally unique, though I only have 2 planar IEMs, so I don't know how they compare to the 7Hz or S12?

None the less, the bass is fast, agile and fun. I wouldn't totally judge the bass by the graph. Reason being is there is incredible bass, it's clear and super tight! The tightness is maybe what is coming out in the graph? My history is so strange to begin with with this IEM. I actually didn't like it, due to the bass. I ran it in for 100 hours and took a full day away from it. Then when I came back it had bass? So it may have been a case of mental adaption? But whatever it is I don't care.

I still need to get to Inception and Bladerunner, but I already know it's going to be fantastic. The P1 MAX is in their element. Also I can listen to other genres and they are fine. It's just I never heard this once-in-a-liftime magic before with the two Batman soundtracks. Those are also my favorites.

There is a 3D imaging that is uncanny. The soundstage is actually round, though maybe slightly less than I described in my review? I don't know? But even the high-highs are super high-up. The response very very special.

The treble in the very first song of Batman v Superman has this interesting pitch that must be exactly like it's suppose to be, way, way up there in the song "Beautiful Lie".

The bass is super fast and textured. It's almost like you can't get anymore texture from the recording? That and the transient response is world class.

I’m using Sony Hybrid Tips with the 1Z/1A.

Repost from the TINHIFI P1 MAX thread,

Mind If I Cut In?

The reverberated piano lasts forever. When the bass drops around 2:09 it’s epic!

Underground Army

The intro is so loud and deep. Those sounds have a tiny impulse along with the bass, the combination of sounds Da,Da,Da Da,DaDa——-Da.
Also the ambient part the way it’s way out in the soundstage.

Got my Green pair of T1s.
Super, very superior sound for this tiny price. Good deep subbass, big midbass.
the mids are detailed and punchy, but not a very bright, cool! they don't poke your ears! :)
Good highs !

Hmm, in my case this a bit a hype "cheap-iems" and more and more better than Chu(chu is trash, do not buy).

One cons: not so good fit. I have already ordered a second pair.

They are definitely worth the hype 😁
I tried them on music, which is quite bright, and the headphones did a great job without giving my ears pain :D

afterburn my T1s pair sounds like a CRA on steroids haha:
Mids a bit more detailed and agressive, but not bright:
Subbas is impressive(good for basshead);
Highs detailed and a bit airly.

Very compact, but in my case a nozzle a too short :frowning2:
