it's amazing how quickly items get buried. i think there is more than enough traffic to warrant dividing up the FS forum - the headphone and amp parts - into home and portable, just like the regular forum.

Dividing FS and WTB part isnt a bad idea, but each forum has to have two sub-forums and I think it might end up being too many sub-categories to dive through.
I'm not convinced about splitting the amp section though.You'll end up getting double posts on both forums and less visibility for ppl just looking for their first amp since they have to now check two forums instead of one. Dont think its that cumbersome right now.

I agree with the OP 100%, when I was looking into amps, I couldn't of given two $hits about a portable amp, when I was only looking for a desktop amp. I couldn't give two $hits about IEMS when I'm looking for full sized cans.
