My old one has been having problems with the bearings coming loose on the back wheel, and it is frankly way to small anymore. I am looking for a new mountain bike, but the catch is that i am 6'9". I will spend 250 or less, with the other catch being that i need it by the 19th.

Hit your local bike shop. Not too many people who Mt Bike are that tall, so they probably have a few outdated (last year or so) large frames that are waiting to be sold at a cheap price. Call they bike shops first. They would know right off the bat if they have an extra tall frame.

I wish i had thought of that. There's over a dozen bike shops really close to me.

I can think of a few but they may be (ok definitely are) out of your price range

Giant Rainier comes to mind - I think the Giant range typically has some large bikes and are relatively low priced
