Shark_Jump, nice tune and I like the breaks."Make Funk Not War", indeed funky brother.

Some epic Marvin Gaye and so overlooked when written about Marvin Gaye. Some good wake up or good night Funk, really.

A good bass line is often essential, too bad Michael Jackson did not understand that on 'Dangerous' for the first half of the CD, 'Jam' is a good track though.

"Brick House", hands down!

"Machine Gun" is great, but it always makes me think of the kind of funk used in '70s TV for station identification or something ("We'll be right back…"), whereas the intro on "Brick House" makes you want to run to the dance floor ("Awwww, sh-t, that's my jam!").

It kinda works like the skit on this piece of bompity-bomp from The Coup: "Pump this at the party…even if it ain't the single…"
