I've placed my UE CIEM order yesterday. As for the impressions, UE says if I use my IEM mostly with my mouth closed, the recommended position is:

"We suggest having your mouth "casually" opened when having impressions done. An open mouth but not exaggerated. "

I just done an impression by an audiologist for Empire Ear to make my Spartan which is fit perfectly and comfortably. I had the same Audiologist did for UM Miracle many years ago which is little bit tight. The Audiologist did make me bite a block two times so each time the bite might be differently or my ear canals have changed shape.

I remember there was some kind of rubber glue style adhesive. I could slowly paint onto my ciem to adjust fit temporarily.

I don't want to go to the effort to remould.

I found the Cosmic Ears site to be helpful especially with the ear diagram and how the shell fits the ear. Thanks!
