The MKIII frequency response graphs suggest that ThieAudio dipped the mid base between 100 Hz to 300 Hz by around 1 dB too much, with the center of this dip being at 200 Hz. At least this is easily fixed by using parametric EQ.

Compared to the Monarch II the Monarch III mid bass sounds quite prominent and is much more engaging

To me, it strikes an excellent balance between being too weak and starting to impact the monitor-like mids.

Yep, I "fixed" it with Mojo 2's 4 band EQ/tone control.

Its not as simple as that unfortunately. What I did was cut a couple of dB on the red (20Hz) and boosted a couple of dB on the orange (125Hz shelf) That works for me.

Just got my custom Gladiator Cables delivered today. Customized it for the Monarch MKIII.

Rhodium plated 2-pin connectors and pure copper 4.4mm plug.

Doesn't change the tonality of the MMK3. Enhances soundstage a bit over stock cables. Improves instrument separation and details slightly.

Lightweight, well braided, no microphonics. Doesn't have cable memory and drapes nicely over ears. Stock MMK3 cable has some cable memory and will annoyingly lift up over my ears sometimes.
