mmm.....well, in future events, I'd like to lend my dog to guard Sennheiser for free. His name is Cujo. Cujo Crazy Fingers. I got him from a certain, influential family in the East Coast.

And that makes two major headphone heists. How does no one get caught?

One thing for sure I will never see the missing Orpheus phones . They are way over my budget by pretty much a lifetime unless I win the lottery or something. But I hope they catch the culprits.

I hope these scumbags get caught soon. Hopefully in the future, there will be more security to prevent this from happening again

Hello Rosmadi,
Are you showing the HD800 in Black?
Can I own a pair?

Easier to hide a pair of headphones than a hijacked airliner.

Hey Tony,
I've not heard anything from the team on this. Easiest way is to get a customized one via ColorWare (for now).
Cheers!

What worries me is that whoever stole it will now be privy to it's design and will attempt to copy it and get a knock-off out before Sennheiser does.

Dear Head-Fiers,
Yesterday, our swap trailer at IFA 2015 in Berlin was broken into and among the things that were stolen was a set of the Orpheus. Below is a list of what was taken as well as the products' serial numbers.

We ask that all Head-Fiers will inform us if they have been offered the Orpheus or other products with the listed serial numbers by anyone.
We'll post updates as more information becomes available and we thank you for whatever help you can offer.

This is despicable, especially the Orpheus, which is tantamount to a famous piece of artwork being stolen.

Or Sennheiser could just write the loss off and/or claim insurance.

It's not about the money, you know. It's about its value, and the (as of now) secret and undisclosed technology behind it.

I understand that, but hasn't certain current phones/amp passed the sq of yesteryear's summit? This isn't really new tech..

Not really. Most serious collectors couldn't care less about headphones.

Someone is selling a set on the classifieds for $25k if Sennheiser or any collector would like to buy that. I don't know the seller but with this gaping hole of not having the kit $25k isn't much.
