mmm.....well, in future events, I'd like to lend my dog to guard Sennheiser for free. His name is Cujo. Cujo Crazy Fingers. I got him from a certain, influential family in the East Coast.

One thing for sure I will never see the missing Orpheus phones . They are way over my budget by pretty much a lifetime unless I win the lottery or something. But I hope they catch the culprits.

And that makes two major headphone heists.  How does no one get caught?

Easier to hide a pair of headphones than a hijacked airliner.

Hello Rosmadi,

Are you showing the HD800 in Black?

Can I own a pair?

Tony in Michigan

Hey Tony,

I've not heard anything from the team on this. Easiest way is to get a customized one via ColorWare (for now).

Cheers!

What worries me is that whoever stole it will now be privy to it's design and will attempt to copy it and get a knock-off out before Sennheiser does.

We ask that all Head-Fiers will inform us if they have been offered the Orpheus or other products with the listed serial numbers by anyone.

We'll post updates as more information becomes available and we thank you for whatever help you can offer.

*Update - included product list and serial numbers

This is despicable, especially the Orpheus, which is tantamount to a famous piece of artwork being stolen.

I understand that, but hasn't certain current phones/amp passed the sq of yesteryear's summit? This isn't really new tech..
It's not about the money, you know. It's about its value, and the (as of now) secret and undisclosed technology behind it.

Not really. Most serious collectors couldn't care less about headphones.
