Has anyone found any velours to fit the WS99?  I ordered mine last night and they already shipped!  Can't wait to listen to these.

I think the DT250 pads were shown on them a page or two earlier.  I've got the other Beyer velours, HiFiMan leathers, Shure leathers and Beyer CLEAR gels to try on them when they arrive today.

Just got a new chillstep track for my summertime playlist & it's awesome.
Just want to ask you guys how it sounds on the WS99, because chillstep like that is 60% of what I'll listen these day.
Nice day everyone!

Hey man, can you please tell me how the ws99 are compared to the pro 900? I saw your post from yesterday saying you are getting the pro 900 today.

That last track is more chill than the first two but has a nice surprise waiting for you at the 1:03 mark.

Enjoy!

It's immaterial but I already have the Pro900 and getting the WS99 today.  I will let you know what I think.

Remember this is immediate impressions and opinions after literally five minutes listening.

First, the pads...........very small, ears fit but barely. Very thin as well, not impressed at all. Had a pair of the Brainwavz or whatever they are called and put them on. The usual pads (Beyer velours, Shure 840's) are way too big.

Next up is how they sound. Pretty good, not blown away but the bass is strong, good mids and a clean sound.

Cord is way too short as well, but easily remedied as you can swap the stock one for a headphone extender, which I did. So the two stock shortcomings I overcame quickly.

To respond to your question - after five minutes the Pro900 is superior. I'll update as I run them through their paces and compare them on my usual test music.

ok and do they sound similar? Also, do you think it's worth spending an extra 100$ for the pro 900

Not sure where you live but the delta is more like $30ish. I bought the Pro900 new for $236.

Anyway, again with five minutes impression, yes, worth the $30.
