W3 has a warmer, thicker sound than the 3.Ai, but I no longer have the W3, so that is from memory

That's what I figured.  Now I do like a warmer signature most of the time but I was expecting the 3.Ai to have less warmth than my BA200, I still think I'm going to really like them a lot but I'll know by around 5pm tomorrow.

So I might mega-splurge for my birthday December 15th and get myself some 8.A with that 25% discount.

Could somebody tell me which wood this is:

Heir should start bundling this album with all orders... It sounds utterly amazing on the 4.Ai, Tzar 350 and 8.A:

Many have tried performing "Hallelujah" and Leonard Cohen may have written it... but Jeff Buckley owns it.

I haven't spent a whole lot of time listening to the 4.Ai which may be somewhat incredulous seeing I have a shelf full at my disposal, but one could spend a lifetime compiling a list of records that sound amazing on the 8.A.

That list should start with this live album

1) Great vocals, guitars, drums and bass.
2) Great recording quality - seriously amazing sense of space in the different venues.

When the Tzar 350 makes it over to you guys, grab this album and listen to track #4 on disk 1, preferably using the Rendition 1 amp...

Prepare to be amazed!

I always use track 2 "Everybody Here Wants You" from this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sketches_for_My_Sweetheart_the_Drunk as a good speaker/headphone test.
Beautiful song, too.
