i'm sudying abroad next term and need something portable to use while in europe. i'm thinking of going for the ety ER4-P and a decent panasonic portable CDP. my current set-up is the senn 580 and creek headphone amp (which are, of course, too big to take with me).

my question is how does the ety/panasonic combo compare to a home system? will the portable combo compare to what i'm used to? or will i be disappointed?

I don't use the Ety's (yet), but I have found my use of portables to be almost as satisfying as my home system.
