I've done some research but there are so many options it is really confusing. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction for a portable amp that would meet my needs
My equipment is currently a Zune30 I use Atrio M5 V2 and Super.fi EB5's for my IEM's.
As you can tell by my choice of IEM's I love bass and I would consider myself a basshead but a pretty serious audiophile as well. I consider a good Bass foundation the starting point for great sound. I listen to mainly classic rock with only lossless audio files.
What I'm looking for in a portable amp is as follows
Little to no added background noise
Warm natural sound with an emphasis on bass but without muddying mid range and treble.
As small as possible
A volume gain on the portable amp
Decent battery life, 10+ hours
Under $200, but if the perfect portable amp was within range I could swing it.
Any help would b appreciated in pointing me in the right direction.
