Let's say one of the major headphones companies ask you to help design the sound of the perfect headphones...

What your suggestions will be to them, in terms of sound quality???
Or, What you will change in your own headphones to sound better, or perfect for you...

Not possible to do so... i remember one persons comment about that they would like to focus on a flower in a picture rather than see everything else. In other words they dont like detail.

Well unless the user can choose how they want the sound to be.

Your ears and brain change as you age. The only way to have perfect headphones is to decide, sooner or later, that what you have is good enough.

But yeah generally personally i would like to have the music with a focus range on the vocals as more important, then the rest are layered.

Detail should be there as intended, and must be natural, with good soundstage. Clarity and Bass should also be there... The Bass in particular should never be overwhelming but must be present with punch when required. Of coz i dont mind having a headphone doesnt reduce any part of the specutrum so it can have huge amounts of bass, but doesnt overwhelm other details.

The ears and brain get better as you age, and the sex too...

a headphone that you can adjust its SQ electronically (kinda like an EQ) so you can make for the "PERFECT" sound you crave!

of course, perfect is subjective--so no, its not possible, for now.

Replicate that in one package and you have the perfect headphone

Maybe to ask AKG to add a little sub in the K1000, and a center too...
LOL...A surround sound helmet.

AKG K1000 with bass extension.
Or just reproduce the sound of a Stax SR-007(BL).

For Headphones and for everything else...

Perfection cannot be achieved..it can only be pursued
