Wow, the Meridian band sounds really good. Can't find much info on them though

You can find info on all the bands posted on this site:

To above video post: Interesting approach to talking about the corruption of things on earth with a first person dialogue. It reminds me of what haste the day did with crush resistance

My favorite song for lyrics is as I lay dying, no lungs to breathe.

Cool, I really really REALLY like what I am hearing from that band. I was never a fan of power metal from bands like dragonforce and the other popular ones, but it is really interesting how I am being exposed to these bands of that genre that I normally didn't like very much

One of the cool features about that site is when you find a band that you like, there is a tab that says "similar artists" which can be hit and miss, but thats a way I find a lot of stuff from bands I was otherwise unfamiliar with.

Great that you like them . They are a small Danish band. http://www.meridianband.dk/en/Discography.aspx

I have never been a fan of Dragonforce either.

I usually just use wikipedia to see an overview and history of the bands because I want to get to know more about them. But that site seems very useful, although not all my bands are there. I like the lyrical themes category. A lot of my bands fall in the inner struggles theme with some philosophy so I might be able to find some bands that are similar to as I lay dying (hopefully)

It is very rare for a band to just click to me like that on the first listen, that's how I know I found a great band. I will definitely listen to all they have to offer

  Leeway is pretty badass!

I did some browsing and discovered Leeway finally had their entire catalog re-issued in 2015.

Very good news for anyone who likes their stuff; up until then I only had some low-bit mp3 rips of their first 2 albums, used to be impossible to find their albums, even used ones.
