A couple of observations:
Has anyone besides me noticed, that if AK100 is hooked up with a USB cable for charging while listening, the SQ is a bit different?
This makes me think that the battery power of AK100 can be improved - maybe some battery mods might be possible?
 
And as for 64SDXC cards: they SHOULD be formatted with SDXC capable hardware (not SDHC). I had some issues with "self-ejecting" cards (one or the second card was shown on the screen, but "empty"). Than I reformatted my cards into FAT32 using GUIformat but not in AK100 - I used a TS-RDF8W cardreader (Transcend). Now everything is perfect!

Any comparisons of the new offical FW to Listrid patch regarding SQ?
 
I'm a bit scared to update as who knows - maybe I'll not be able to go back to the Russian patch if I do not like the SQ...

Downloaded mine from iRiver JP.
Now running smoothly on 2.01
But 1 thing I noticed, the auto library scanning seems slower than FW 1.33, or it could be just my imagination

Yes. I compared the beta 2.0 and listrid
listrid better for me.
2.01 has not compare, but I think that from the beta 2.0 is not different

This update is not usb dac
