I am interesting what is the most ideal headphones from your experience for voices/vocals no matter how much is it. I am looking for headphones which have voices so (present, alive) that you feel you want even touch on it. I will not write my horses for now which I found to be acceptable.

speaking from MY experience, the se530 are still getting screen time even after i got my jh13 means it's midrange/voices are irreplaceable for me. unless u are ONLY looking for full size headphones. if thats the case, well i don't own/heard many full sizes to say more.

unquestionably the STAX 4070 Monitors, they have a reputation for voice rendering (among other qualities) that sets them apart from the rest.
Of all the cans I own or have tried, these are the ones for voice, simply magical! the top can I have yet to hear is the T1, but I doubt it will touch the 4070's in this respect.... Im curious though.

For a custom IEM, I actually prefer the EarSonics EM3pro's over the JH13pro's...

I have the hd800, grado rs1 and akg k240 but it seems nothing comes close to these for vocals and acoustics.

Electrostat-wise I've been told the 4070s and O2s render voices beautifully.

Dynamic headphones, T1 and HD800 I've been told are about on par (some say T1 is slightly better some say HD800 is slightly better), and are supposedly the best out there for current production headphones.

For non-current production dynamic cans the R10 and L3000.

I love vocals. And most of my music has vocals. I'm sorry cos I just use my Grado SR60 and AKG K701 but I love it. Also the K701 is better than SR60 in natural vocal reproduction. Therefore I recommend K701.

K1000, 4070 and SR-007 all do well with voices.

Depends on what you want from vocals, but of the headphones I've heard that are in the not-Omega2 price range, the RS1i is my favorite as far as presentation is concerned. They do have that "you can touch it" quality, at least for opera and oratorios, which is what I usually listen to.

Dude there's no way you aren't an employee of AKG, because if you honestly think 2 and 3 have some of the best vocals out there you have completely lost your mind and common sense. I don't care HOW differently people hear, I don't think there's a single person on this planet who could honestly say the K702 or K271 are some of the best headphones for ANYTHING, especially vocals.

The K1000 I'll agree with for sure though.

BTW, I forget to mention, the K-240DF and the DT-48 are also great hps for vocals, if you like the K-1000.
