I knew a guy years ago who took the 4 Barrel Carburetor and intake manifold off of his 350 and swapped it for a 2 Barrel. This was to save gas... Then complained that there wasn't any power any more and wanted to know if Headers would bring back some of the power... :D

So after more than a month with these, i've decided to share what I believe is the best EQ for these S500 with stock pads.
+2db at 125hz
+1db at 1k
+2db at 2k
+3db at 4k
+3db at 8k

Keep in mind I mostly listen to EDM, but I found that it also seems to improve metal, rock and even some classical songs. It mostly makes songs sound a lot clearer if that makes any sense. If you're feeling more bass lovin', it works well with the 32 and 64 frequencies raised a couple decibels.
Hope this  helps some of you looking for a good EQ on the S500!
Im looking to try other different eq settings for the S500 so post your own findings!

First time posting in this thread. I like your eq settings.
I am however not qualified to talk about any negative effects if there are any with this eq but for now I like it.
Now I must convince my friend that these cans sound better than his Beats Mixr :)
And that burn in is real :)

My friend always thinks he's right.
He thought the bass was flat.

Should I even argue with him?

just ordered.
$6 + $4shipping

Very nice!
I contacted Dave about these WS55 pads as well and since I am in Canada he points me to thier "Authorized Part's and Service Company" JAM Industries out of Quebec.
So I contacted JAM about a pair of WS55 replacement pads last week and I get an email today from one of their representatives with a price.

Part Number 135413140 Ear Pad (Not In Pairs)

$15.78 Each!

and $9.95 Shipping...

This is the type of foolishness that happens when parts and service are farmed out to "Authorized Companies"
So for me to order these pads they would be $47.75 after tax, a far cry from 10 bucks...

sound like a $500 headphones. i'm not kidding.

So now I've gotta buy the WS55 pads, huh? How does it change the sound signature and how comfortable are they? I'm using the stock pads.
