I had a lot of headphones, some good, some not so good.
I repurchase the Sennheiser HD598 that i sold before 4 years.
Big mistake.
Now i am very happy that i have them again. Spectacular mids.

Headphones (and headphone amplifiers) are mostly unique in their character. Sometimes a subsequent purchase isn't as good or doesn't suit the equipment you have causing a re-purchase. Some sold headphones become desirable because it's something you can't have and they may become less desirable in your hands. It's part of this hobby. I haven't actually re-purchased a headphone but I've re-purchased media players and amplifiers. Re-purchases can be for sentimental reasons or a golden hue of sound quality that doesn't exist, a cycling between too many headphones and not enough. A peculiar human characteristic.

Beyerdynamics

3 pairs each of DT150, DT440, 990 Pro. Over last few years I've constantly swapped and changed between these models..Mainly buying on Amazon Warehouse deals using for a few months then selling at a profit.

That's all over now I have a pair of HD600s
