The GMP 400/450 Pro drivers: apologize for bad photo skills

That white circular thing on the middle of the driver is a layer of felt... couldn't get rid of the flash...

These are 50mm dynamic drivers with an impedance of supposedly 300Ohms...
However when I opened the headphones I found a little sticky on the back side of the drivers where it was printed 410 Ohms??

Anyway I want to know how would the drivers react if I covered those circular vent holes on their back?
Can anyone enlighten me?

These drivers are used on both GMP 450 Pro(closed) and GMP 400(open) and generally they have a tighter and quicker response on the closed version than on the open version...
The open GMP 400 has a weightier and looser bass than the GMP 450 Pro, which has more prominent higher frequencies...

The closed GMP 450 Pro enclosures are highly damped with foam with very little air volume inside...
I suspect that by covering some of those holes I can make the driver sound as tight and nimble on the open enclosures, not sure...

THOUGHTS, ANYONE?
THANK YOU!!!

Umm...it looks like an AMT? ESS AMT Mk 1? Probably not.

I was going to guess that, but I thought they looked a bit different. Cool!

Is there really no damping of any kind?  :-o

Nope, not any. Maybe one reason why they are so agressivly yelling onto my eardrums...
