You need an amp and a way to lift 20-60Hz
 
A change of pads not immediate like the 2000 but ideal eventually.

Managed to pick up a pair of XX's for $12 shipped off ebay aswell. Most people selling the headphones are pretty nice if you just send them a message asking to buy the pads.

Look at what arrived for me today and let me tell you there is no better headphone than this for BASS and boy it has a lot of bass and guess what my dual amped fiio e12 and e9 gave out before these did OH MY GOD that BASS was enormous, these are straight Cannons that dont distort the rest of the frequencies TRULY and that is a lot coming from me. Im selling all my headphones LMAO after this nothing freaking compares man.

have you seen both videos? I'm thinking that... Yeah. Those TH-900 and TH-600's are cannons, but not top dog. The SZ2000's still are the king of the bass hill.

It could also be perception too. Just because one puts out more air doesn't mean it's going to sound better bass wise

this isn't about sound quality. Its all about the air being able to be pushed. Sound quality is irrelevant in this thread. All that matters is how much SPL a headphone can put out.
