Last Friday, I received two Toxic Cables cables for my Fitears. My initial impressions are found here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/609155/toxic-cables-the-appreciation-thread/5940#post_10285139

Hmm I won't be at Jaben after I make my impressions.... Guess I'll have to hope they're perfect the first time.
Eve, I am sure you could ask to take your second impression, if the need should arise, at another Jaben which is most convenient for you. Anyway, fingers crossed that yours falls within the vast majority of case where just one impression is needed.

Hmmm... that is surprising. I have heard persons trying the demo for the 435 in Singapore. Of course, I had demoed on Wilson's personal 435. So, I suspect something is wrong with the demo sets that have been sent to Jaben.
The one to try, in my view, is the MH 334 which is much tighter than the TG, both in the treble extension and its bass.
I haven't heard the UERM myself. Sorry.
I actually kinda partially agree with pekingduck about the 435's. I won't say it sounded really bad but it wasn't my taste. It's definitely more tonally balanced than the 335 but to me overall staging also sounds smaller and the tonal signature (for some strange reason??) reminds me a little bit like the 535. Last weekend was the 2nd time I heard the 435's at the Fujiya store (the first being some time last year with V0).
Also do you hear more treble extension in the MH334 over the TG!334? That's rather interesting 'cos to me there's less. A friend of mine has the MH334 and it kinda fits in my ear (I have to hold it in to get a perfect seal) and naturally he could try my TG!334. We both unanimously agreed that the TG!334 has a greater treble extension whilst the MH334 had better imaging. We speculate the treble extension on the TG!334 is due to the titanium tubes which the MH334 lacks.
This is actually one of the reasons why I'm really looking forward to the MH335DWSR - crossing my fingers that titanium tubes can be fitted into my particular CIEM.
I do actually agree with Pekingduck on custom 334 vs TG. The TG was the old version though.
I had the chance to play with different cables on my MH334 yesterday too, the 000, and a Crystal Piccolino cable. 000 for me matches my MH334 better in my opinion, the Piccolino liven up too much to my tasting. Changing the MH334 from a mellow relaxed phone to aggressive and upfront.
000 vs 001 was a hard one, 000 is surely better but 001 have far superior comfort and no added premium, 000 is not cheap exactly. The improvement was very all-round, but also not big either. For me, the comfort trade off was the deal breaker.

That's an interesting observation about the synergy between the MH334 and cables. I will try them with different cables once I have assessed how the stock 001 interacts with the MH. My hunch is that a hybrid like the Virus will do well, or a copper cable like the Black Widow or the TWCu. Well, I will know after my MH finally gets to me.

Oh, you're not collecting it from Jaben but having it delivered? Anyway time to update your inventory in your signature then.

Nope. SingPost will deliver it to Jaben. Who knows when that will be... I will update once I get my grubby hands in the MH334...
