This is weird,
After the stepchild AS16Pro-x being sold without fanfare or even available in KZ official stores...

Now we got KZ CRA PRO being sold only through third party and without proper announcement.

You could find it in multiple different different aliexpress store for $25~30 ish...

Pretty close to discounted CCA Trio...
1 x Superthin DLC membrane DD vs 3x 8mm DD setup

Hmmm, meanwhile I have pre-ordered (at an online shop in my country) this:

Any IEM better than Olina SE under $100? I use Olina SE with TRI Clarion tips and it sound much better than stock tips.
Looking for a little bit warm sound, soft/mellow bass and treble, mid focused.
Seeing Nicehck F1 Pro but it's planar. I also have Simgot EW200 and I don't like that kind of sound.
Thanks
Maybe KiiBOOM Allure? I have it, it’s got a soft timbre, balanced sound with a bit of bass. Doesn’t do much wrong but also not much wow factor. Decent set for the price range, overall sound quality is there.

That one got proper announcement,
Its also have the zs10 line go to 5 driver (1dd+4ba) setup and follows zs10pro line of tuning.
So pretty much its own "thing".

But cra was very popular and no announcement for its successor?

Kz rep jenny confirm its a real kz cra pro, and released early in cooperation with their third party suppliers.

They will released it on official store "later"

i would probably wait for the official store to release it. ive never had issues with their store, and they have quick shipping usually.

The 7Hz Aurora is a 12 mm DD + 1 x 6 mm microplanar + 2 BA tribrid.

It has a very clean and transparent U-shaped signature, extremely balanced and all-rounded for most music genres.

7Hz_Aurora.jpg

A highlight is the tight, textured and fast bass. Sub-bass extends well. For Sting's Englishman In New York, the Aurora aces the fast double bass solo in the middle of the track. Usually this kind of bass quality is seen (or rather heard) in pricier models, so this is very appreciated.

7Hz Aurora.jpg

Upper mids are forwards without being shouty. There's a 6/7 kHz dip in the treble which is something of a trade-secret used in TOTL tuning to decrease sibilance without overly damping resolution.

Technicalities are also very well-done, with an expansive stage and solid imaging and micro-detailing.

Unlike other very technical sets, the Aurora doesn't sound sterile and maintains a decent note weight. Good mix of technicalities and musicality, so it isn't a one trick pony per se. The keyword to describe the Aurora's signature would be "Grand".

A nitpick from brief OOTB testing would be planar/BA timbre, but this can perhaps be mitigated with eartip-rolling or source pairing.

Quite a promising IEM, will do some burn-in and comparisons against other tribrids and report back.

The Tin HIFI P1 Max II is a V-shaped planar.

P1 Max II.jpg

This set is quite hard to drive, with 98 dB/mW sensitivity at 16 ohm. Sonics will scale with amplification as such.

From brief listening, it sports a lean V-shaped profile. Very technical sounding with an expansive soundstage when amped.

Treble-heads and technical junkies will love it, with good capturing of micro-details with accurate imaging. Without burn-in (OOTB), it is a wee bit sibilant, but I'll see if tip-rolling or burn-in may mitigate this.
You dirty dog............how did you end up with the 7Hz Aurora so fast? Wait don't answer that...........just enjoy it! Cheers! :poodle:😫
