Yeah the packaging is trash, like kz level. But it's fantastic, really nice cheap set. Thanks for watching.
I got one coming and I already can tell that cable will be immediately swapped out

It’s quality. But that’s a bit to pay for a blind buy. I’d recommend a demo. It’s very nice. But just feels like a 300 dollar set not a 700.

Yeah, I think it's best to sit back, wait and see for a few months. The prospect seems very interesting.

The CCA Trio is the quintessential ALL-AROUNDER. You will be absolutely hard pressed to find another IEM, either it be in it's price bracket, or up to $100, where you can definitively say this thing can handle a swath of genres like a champ. Now, if you're a stickler for top end resolution as a necessity to declare it a true "all arounder", then you'll find fault in my words, but if you're ok with really good resolution, and pretty good mid bass kick, but not truly punchy, then yes, you will find gospel in my description, and join me that the Trio is going to treat your entire library, regardless of genre, very professionally and adeptly.
Coming in tomorrow. It became available in my country a few days back.

I also got the KZ cheapie Castor Bass, on @ToneDeafMonk 's recco for the best budget bass iem. And I must say very impressed with it.

GReat fun for 15$. The vocals and timbre too are damn fine. I don't have to yank it out when listening to cello or tabla stuff either. But yes essentially for the bass slam and oomph. If anyone looking for budget bass iem, I would agree with TDM 's recco. I run it on ' Up, up and down n down' (in the switches) along with tweaks from hibym300 plugins.

Plays something like this '
https://songwhip.com/rezz/everywhere-nowhere ' with aplomb. Will put a silly grin on your face!

If Trio is this good ( not in bass but overall performance) I shall be thrilled.

Nice got in on my radar. Has Cadenza 4 got a price yet?

Was watching your YouTube friend Jayaudio review on it yesterday. Seems to rate cklvxpula pa02 higher in many aspects. And of course slams singolo again. Hope he doesn't let his personal views on the maker override his audio sensibilities. Will give him the benefit of doubt, but needs to be a touch careful about letting off-ears sensibilities affect on-ear assessments. But as said, he might genuinely not like em but he carries on a bit in multiple videos. Just my 2 Paisa/cents on it.

I don't use EQ either. On every one of my devices the sound loses definition and focus just by enabling the function, even before making any adjustments. The same thing happens with MSEB on my Hidizs AP80 Pro X.
Yes! Thank you!

Short nozzle fix. This is what the Simgot nozzles look like on the Himalaya. Its like it was made for it. Actually, matches and fits the Titanium alloy shells even better than the stock nozzles. There is something to elongating the nozzle aspect for its sound that improves it.
DSC01690.JPG

This is, imo optimized Himalaya. Penon Liqueur+ Simgot Harmon tuned nozzle Aka black ringed nozzle+ Penon ASOS/ original, non + cable in 4.4mm balanced.= Upgraded Himalaya. If you got em, try it out.

If you don't have these nozzles. No need to worry about this post at all. Not a big deal. The fact that the Simgot nozzles fit so well was just low hanging fruit for me. No real need for this mod at all. But if you so happened to have one of Simgots IEMs. Well then.

Yeah depending on preferences. This is iem season baby! Dusk 2 and Pilgram could be good enough for people. Lee and Crin can tune some items. Singolo my dudes, it doesn't leave me hating my music. So solid, just dumpsters on the red.

I'm considering getting the Moondrop Dawn Pro to replace my aging Apple USB-C dongle which is starting to fall apart. Any other considerations in the sub $50?
And so I answer my own question.

https://store.hiby.com/products/hiby-w3-ii

I was wondering why all off the sudden there's a Bluetooth receiver for like $50. Turns out it released this January.

Sure I lose the 4.4mm but taking advantage of it would actually mean dropping another $15 minimum on a 4.4mm cable because my HE400SE doesn't include one despite how supposedly power hungry this headphone is.

Edit: Unfortunately, this also means this product is so new, there's hardly any information out there. Doesn't help that it seems to have released rather quietly.
