But my happiness did not last long :frowning2: because Sajid bhai has brought the CA Super Moon as well. Man this IEM was wonderful, took me about 2 hours to forget what I had listened to lol. Tight, Precise, Accurate sound, with a little finicky fit but does the job for me. Will start saving up and get this beauty sometime next year <3

The new version in the chromatic series looks quite nice. Not sure if the sound has changed. It sounds quite crisp and dynamic, though I must say that I couldn’t hear much if any differences in raw resolution and dynamic between this and the F1 Pro. I would go with the cheaper one instead.

F1 Pro also sounds good, but Super Moon was charming. Maybe someday not in a hurry to grab the SM anytime soon anyway.

I would say it depends on the tuning preference. Supermoon is tuned to be much leaner. In fact a store staff at my local hifi store was saving up for a SM to upgrade his S12, which is always in his pocket. He started looking up for the F1 Pro after I asked him to test it though :dt880smile:

Yeah, I completely agree man, it always falls down upon personal preferences after all. I recently grabbed the S15 from a good friend who did not like the smoothness of the S15 haha

BTW do you have the CYAN cable with the F1 Pro, because the combination is so good. Here's an image of the cable i clicked when i received the F1 Pro.

You found it good?

Now I’m starting to wonder whether my F1 Pro is defective / has unit variation because (a) it graphs noticeably difference from MP145, while another head-fier found they graph very similarly, and (b) I found that cable sounds absolutely horrible with F1 Pro. It makes the sound more muddy and the midrange a bit too distant somehow. I kept the K7 setting exactly the same between swap, so whatever it is, it is due to the cable. I stick to the stock cable.

Not all is lost though. I pair that cyan cable with AFUL P8. I haven’t done A/B of any kind, but I like the look and the sound of the whole thing.

Strange, because the F1 Pro with Cyan is a fantastic combo for me, they sound really good together, smooth, lively, and not muddy at all. Midrange is what I prefer the most, it's not distant for me. Maybe the M15S? I am not sure. But I will definitely try other sources and let you know.
