I've seen pictures of some of S.O.'s gear before. For someone with his forum name, he's certainly well equipped to generate lots of high quality sound!

In fact, he happens to have a Sansui G-22000:

Wow! Silent - I think you've been holding out on us... Nice!!

Is that a Music Hall turntable?

Thanks y'all. Yes that's the MMF-7.

Add:  The album playing is Yamaha R&D Studio's Session III. One of the featured keyboardist on the album is a 19 year old prodigy from Japan, Keiko Doi, now known as Keiko Matsui.

That footprint always seems odd to me. I appreciate that it's designed that way so that the power amp and preamp can be separated (as in the picture), which is a really clever design (and also facilitates transporting the thing from place to place, as it's over 100 lbs total if I remember right), but the proportions are nonetheless unusual when it's stacked like that. Regardless of how it's set up, though, that thing is a beast!

The two piece design is brilliant! I can testify since I live in a hotel suite and constantly slinging that iron around. Last summer I rolled it into SBUX

for a few hours with my HD650. It commanded everyone's attention!

There is something about vintage Sansui that has always made me go "Oooooh" - even back in the 70s when it wasn't "vintage" yet. They had such great faceplate designs.

A special shot for my SoCal brother! One of only 4,000 units in this series made worldwide...

That thing is a beauty... and a beast at the same time. :p I love the modular design, flexible configurations FTW.

Hey guys, anyone heard the new Crystal Method album yet? I've been chilling to it the last couple of weeks and I'm loving this new album to death. Not a bad song on it in my opinion.
