So is the preorder batch limited to  2x Combo XLR or 4-pin XLR and 1/4" analogue outputs? I'm interested in the 4-pin RSA output version.

If it can get a real 5 hours play time and epic SQ, its a winner in my books. I hope so anyways as i joined the PreO club. Any info as to its compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy S3? or the DAC they are considering, i have always been partial to the high end Burr-Browns in my HT setups, they seem very musical/warm.

yes 4 pin rsa is available as one of the options

Well, I thought to myself......'Self, 7-8 hours would be great, however just in case it will be less than (which seems likely), I HAVE to make sure I can still justify purchasing the HIFI M8.'
