I agree my XB500 sounded pretty average on first listen. They need a few hours at least to loosen up those drivers. Someone mentioned 10 hours, I think that sounds about right.

a little ampage doesn't hurt either.  BOOM!

which IEM is the best from the following (bass matters 50% and other 50% goes to highs ,mids, lows, sub bass and stuff)
1.)MEElectronics M31

2.)Audio-Technica Solid Bass In-Ear Headphone (ATH-CKS55)
3.)JVC HAFX1X
4.)soundmagic E-10
so which one is the best..???THANKS.

Just got the cks77 yesterday and i am completely blown away, absolutely amazing.  I have not heard the others.  These can be found on ebay for around 55, some were questioning if they were legit or fakes, but most have been pleased with them so far, and the few with problems are having no problem with exchanges.  I paid 88 cause i wasnt sure about the others, but there are a few pair on the fs/ft threads.  u will not be dissapointed, they equal the sub bass of atrio, way more mid bass, but the mids and treble are not overlooked.

hay guys

i recalty tried some headphones at Jaben
here some impretions

Xb1000
no, simply not my taste, bass was excellent but the rest of the sound was too relaxed, sounded really dull, sound stage was shockly huge, scared me in some songs

ath pro 700
AMAZING, not enogh sub bass but wow very fowered, midrange was excallent and highs were pretty good, very puchy

V moda lp (the big one)
not worth the price tag
xb500s nuff said

this makes the xb700 all the more interesting as i need to hear them again to make a final destion

Yes, I'm pretty impressed with the XB1000's soundstage too. If you pair the XB1000 with a decent bass boost amp like the ZO2.3, the results will be quite stunning. With a high contour level setting, you can obtain the punchiness of an XB500 without sacrificing too much quality. Besides, they are really comfortable, albeit a tad heavy.

I'm in agreement with your assessment of the PRO700MK2 - it's a really punchy can. Paired with the ZO2.3, it's my favorite can right now. :)

as a general consensus are most of u saying u prefer the xb500 or xb700's?

The XB500 is punchier, but lacks greater sub-bass performance. Both are very good cans for delivering massive gobs of the low-end, though. I would prefer the XB500 on my end, but I would grab a 700 if I had the chance.

I was mulling about, deciding between the WS55 and the CKS77 the other day. Almost got the IEMs, but went for the cans instead. I think I'm pretty much done with bassy IEMs. I prefer the sound/feel of cans these days. :)

The Zo will drive the 900s, but I wasn't a big fan of that combination. Pairing a basshead can and amp made for a fairly bloated sound. I love the 900s with the Just Audio amps. Probably the best synergy I've found was with the Meier 2Stepdance. Awesome pairing.
