My W3000ANV's has some minor scratches and the leather is starting to show some wear so I'll probably look to buy replacement pads before they go out of stock.  This is with me using them almost every single day for over two years now as my primary headphone at home though.  Still my favorite.

I've resulted to wearing gloves and only leaving the W3000 on thick padded surface to avoid any scratches to the cups.
I use leather cleaner/conditioner by Meguiar's for the ear pads (Moisturizes, conditions and nourishes with UV protection)

Hey guys, any news on when the next limited edition flagship AT woody will be out? No info on the W3000ANV successor? Just curious since AT has been soo quiet on that front... can't wait to get my hands on the next Echizen Laquer beauty from AT...

Well, they did release the w10ltd for their 35th anniversary..... 


Also, some of the other woodies were released at seemingly random intervals so... thats why I was wondering if there were any new developments on that front.


 


This year marks their 55th anniversary no?


I was hoping that maybe there would be some new info on the next woody as I've been away from the forums for a very very long time now. I've also just realized that it has been 10 years now since I've joined this forum....


 


Meanwhile imma keep on enjoyin my W3000anv and W11jpn. Love them.


Been listenin to the W11jpn a lot these past few months, I'll need to go dig out the W3000anv tonight. I think I'll listen to the W3000av while I stare at the W11jpn.... or maybe the other way round.... I can't decide which is more purdy...

Duh, silly me. Typo and miscalculation...

 Yeah, they were formed in 1962. Next year will be 55 years.
Oh well, more time to save up for their next collector's edition flagship headphone then. Muahahaha...

Had a solid couple of hours listening session with the W3000anv. Need to put them both away now, bed time. Took a quick snap before I stored them away. Damn difficult to photograph them as the reflection makes it looks like scratches etc.

i normally enjoy listening to the w3000anv but found it "meh" last night. even the mids were sounding too forward to me this time around. guess i've become too accustomed to the th900's more v-shaped fr, clarity and visceral presentation.
