What about that old school foam SONEX or something like that over your Thermo stuff or their is a newer one sound acoustic studio?- - - Looking for some suggestions - - -
Back on 21-MAR-24, I moved from Houston, TX to Coppell, TX. My new apartment has a 5-ft x 6-ft single layer window in the bedroom. I want to add thermal and acoustic insulation, approximately 2" - 3" thick.
.
First thoughts were to layer two or three sheets of something like Rmax Thermasheath R6 foam insulation. That would take care of thermal insulation - but what could be layered with one or two inches of foam, to provide better acoustic insulation?
.
Thanks for any helpful suggestions!
