Hahaha

You have no idea how hard it is for me to find iems with the level of detail and transparency I like. The IE800 failed, the Andromeda failed, the UERR failed, the Se846 failed, just to name a few
Shouldn't have even bothered with the SE846 IMO. I didn't really like how that IEM sounded at all, like in any capacity.

Dunno if you didn't find what you wanted in the Andro and UERR if you can find it in any IEM without using EQ. If you were to get something like a UERM for less money, Earwerkz (now Empire Ears) Supra is a good choice. But you said you didn't much like the UERR, so I dunno if that's worth the exploration effort. Heck of a lot cheaper than UERM/UERR though at least if you wanted to try it out.

So I'm curious what people use for their EQ setups. This is what I'm rolling with right now for my 1060c modded to be open.

My M1060 is mostly the same with a little less bass and a little more 1250-2000.

For a lot of my IEMs I use:

Here are my M1060 EQ settings:

Don’t know what it is about this track, just love it. Guess it reminds me of the Acid House days (God I loved those party’s)
It really kicked off here in the UK, there’s a documentary on Sky Arts about it and I showed my kids.....that opened their eyes a bit to what their mum & dad were up to lol

I know this is much later, but it’s all about the dancing :L3000::L3000::L3000:

What do you think of the Shure KSE1500 if you have tried it?

Never even got a chance to see it in person. :frowning2:

Wish I could have a chance at that. Electrostats are know for their detail (so I think I've read somewhere), and an electrostat IEM is interesting.

On a similar note, have you gotten a chance to listen to the KSE1200 yet?
The only Electrostat I've heard is the SR009 with the SRM007 energiser.
I didn't really enjoy its tuning though it is very resolving. The rain in "stanger in Moscow" never sounded more realistic.
The store owner said they have yet to find a good dac to go with it so that could be it.

Real pity this wasn't available for demo.

I thought a similar thing about both the SR007 and SR009 from my brief test of each at a meet a couple years back. Not my kind of sound signature. And of course also very expensive and requiring a particular power source to run. I'll stick with my HD600/TH-X00 combo any day.

So close, yet so far from that HE1060 haha.

For sure. Hope you get to listen to the KSE1500 soon!

3k dollars is a bit steep, I might as well get the Tia Forte at that price

Anything cheaper?
If you really like it, I am certain that you can find a great deal on one.
