I don't think audio is great on any or them being for underwater usage, i have looked at the sonys but seem very mixed reviews.
I think that underwater iems will have to rely on bone conduction rather than let sound travel through the air as water will inevitably get in

You had me intrigued now so I went and got them , to all appearances they look just like normal iems. 20180507_161755.jpg

You bough a pair of waterproof bone conduction..... (hmm, you can't exactly call them earphones can you?) audio transducers?

How do they sound?

As I said not great ...but I'm kayaking mostly with them and swimming occasionally so it's better than nothing and no way I'm taking my dap on a kayak.
I'm trying to find something a bit better though as in build , capacity and if possible audio improvement too.

Would consider just bluetooth 100% waterproof iems too as my phone is waterproof in a waterproof pouch.

Edit...as I said i know it's a long shot asking on here but was just wondering on the off chance .

.
Midgetguy has had both he posted a few posts back and I think that he said lows have been improved which seemed to be most people's gripe but it's lost a bit of detail, at least i think thats what he said.
He's the guy to ask though.
The P2 is indeed IMO better than the P1 overall. The P1 wins on high frequency detail while avoiding sibilance, but the P2, losing just a bit of that, balances out better with the low end. Enough of a v-shape to not be flat balanced, but no so much that mids became recessed. Still a decent amount of fun.

Yeah I'm definitely out. The P1 lacked the amount of detail I liked so the P2 having even less detail is a big no no
Yeah, these should be a pass for you if you felt the P1 didn't have enough detail. Highly demanding you are lol.

Hahaha

You have no idea how hard it is for me to find iems with the level of detail and transparency I like. The IE800 failed, the Andromeda failed, the UERR failed, the Se846 failed, just to name a few

I can quite confidently say that my audio journey has proven that price is NOT a factor when moving up to higher-end.

Tuning is key here.

So I'm curious what people use for their EQ setups. This is what I'm rolling with right now for my 1060c modded to be open.

My M1060 is mostly the same with a little less bass and a little more 1250-2000.

For a lot of my IEMs I use:

I wish more equalisers allow you to change the Q value :frowning2:

Using this to tone down the bass and slightly tweak the treble of the Finders. It needs more presence hence the boost at 250 and 500. Drums sound impeccably realistic now.

I'm going to be very honest... I don't really understand what the Q values do. :frowning2:
Q values basically increase the width of the peak. A smaller value would give you a narrower and more precise tweak but it may sound unnatural due to a sudden peak. A larger value would give you a wider and less precise but safer tweak.

Anybody have songs in their collection that you've never heard before? (or at least never heard for a long time)

I have a few albums I'm saving up for now. Sadly I am running out of nostalgia inducing material like soundtrack from a childhood movie, TV show or game.

I always loved the music from "the good the bad the ugly" by ennio morricone .
The music is what makes that film an all time classic in my opinion.
