Just to clarify few things. ANT "Amber" design has nothing in common with Creek amps I've designed in the past, save the purpose. Moreover, the "Amber" by the nature of its circuit is not really suitable for mass-production and it would be very difficult to make it into a mass-market amp like Creek OBH amps. In a way it uses a technology close to some SET valve amplifiers, thought in a solid-state incarnation. It requires very accurate matching of many devices - each amp needs 1 pair and two "quads" of FETS, matched on 5 parameters, and some of the resistors in the circuit need to be customised to specifics of a particular "quad" used. It only looks simple

. On average one "Amber" requires about 5-6 hours to build, much of this time due to the transistors selection/matching process required.
