Test your hearing

I'm not sure how reliable these test are, I've done the pitch test about 20 times and gotten everything from 0.3hz to 1.5 - too much chance involved?

88.9% on Tone
4.8Hz on Pitch (yay tinnitus)
88% on rhythm

Baahhhh my Pitch seems odd, i've been singing chorally for 6 years and I hope I wasn't that far off all the time! I know someone who was born with Perfect pitch, i'd love to see how they score on this.

These kind of tests, in my opinion, are alot of crap. It's all about how much you concentrate if you keep doing it you could eventually get near 100% scores.

But anyhoo:

Tone Perception - 86.1%
Pitch Perception - 0.525 Hz apart
Rythm Perception - 80%

Tone - 80.6%
adaptive pitch - 2.55hz
Rhythm - 80%

Overall I'm very satisfied with my performance since I don't have any musical training and just listen to music and mix.

You know what? I tried again with a pair of iPod stock buds, and did the adaptive pitch with my eyes shut, (using the keyboard), and repeated (space bar) whenever I wanted to. The performance improved to 1.125 Hz

Tone Perception = 66.7%
Adaptive Pitch = 0.75 Hz
Rhythm perception = 48.0%

What happen to my sound perception?
or
my brain cannot process to classify a little different bit of data within a few seconds.

Umm...I think I should take a seat and listen to Musics and receive its refinement only.

Tone: 88.9% correct
Adaptive Pitch: 0.675Hz apart
Rythm test: 92% correct

Very interesting.

It would be interesting to correlate these results to headphone preference in some sort of complicated MANOVA statistical test. Actually, if everyone here could post their single favourite headphone, and the headphone that they used to do this test, I'm willing to do the stats.
