Might be of some interest:


Based on his criteria, I would add Jeff Mills "Liquid Rooms".

I'm a big LSG fan and whilst the Black album is quite good, Renezvous in Outer Space, Volume Two and Into Deep are more interesting listens. For more Techno angle, then the Spicelab moniker of Oliver Lieb is more suitable. The Spy vs Spice album is really nice/tough listen.

The thread is about more up-to-date 'future-facing stuff' with a bit of old school sprinkled in according to OP.

I was stuck in retro mode for so long, so guilty as charged....love dat old school sound but love discovering bang up to the minute stuff 10x more - just like I did in 90s.

Then we got new school old school emulation as well to add to the mix like my above post....haha.
