Wait, there are two versions to the BA200? What are the differences if any?

One version (the Original one) comes with a short cable and an extension. The new version has one long cable, and as I have read, fewer accessories.

The newer sets come with the 4' cable, yup.

From what I've read, the box is also different, so that maybe can help to distinguish which ones are the newer.

Wow, these sound immaculate, but I would prefer a longer cable. Can anyone post a picture of the newer ba200 packaging, I read the newer version is packaged in a different box to the original.

I'm really glad I was able to get one without the 2 piece cable. FYI, I just bought it recently directly from amazon.

The new box is different than the prior box. It might be a product-wide change because the new box is the same package as the IE800 package, except for the clear shell supports.

Amazon US depicts the wire junction that demonstrates its BA-200 is the later version.

Yeah, I can confirm that Amazon is selling the longer cabled BA200.

I would advise buying a cheap extension cable because the chord connecting to the 3.5mm has no strain relief. Without doubt it will improve the life of your BA200.
On another note, I'm still grieving on the fact that Europeans get 2 year warranty while I only get a year

I was trying out Astrotec AM-800s and for $49.99 from Amazon they do sound good...
I got a pair of refurb Senn IE7 for $37 off Ebay which some ARE fakes but boy they DO sound good,
they have a great return policy as well so I am not too worried...
 
I saw these on Amazon for $121 and people here rave how good they sound and they sound as good as IEMs costing costing double or triple that...
I have never used a dual BA let alone a single BA so I am not really what to expect other than what I have seen here...
 
I am kinda on the edge at $121 but I want something that sounds good period. I am NOT going to find an IEM that sounds like my 
HD600s of the LCD2s in the the price range I can afford, I just want the best I can get for the money I have...
Having looked so many things this looks like the best value out there period... I hope they are 

 
If anybody can tell what to expect in these things vs the big boys I would appreciate, eithe way I'll have mine tomorrow
