Hi Everyone,
Thanks to Headfi I have a small collection of headphones. Now if I had stopped at my Senheisser HD 238s all those years ago I could have saved all kinds of money. I just recently rediscovered my 238s. These have become my favorite portables after years of searching. All it needed was a cmoy bb with an 8066 in it. took an already good phone into a tremendous portable. Bass is strong just shy of club like bass, mids are silky smooth, and Highs are of course sennheisser like airy just shy of sparkle. These need power to shine but with this combo it's unbelievable. When these phones are connected to my Fiio E7 they're good but just soo much better with the cmoy bb/ 8066 and bass boost on. It is a soul mating in my opinion.
Have any of you discovered any really good pairings?
