If you using a receiver then your receiver should have a setting to let you do it. I forgot what it exact name is,but my receiver has it which let you do Virtual 5.1 thru Two speakers.
Now if you mean thru your sound card, then the sound card will have Dobly Virtual Speaker or if its a creative card, CMSS3D. You be much better off just playing the movie in stereo instead of doing DVS as it may not sound right when you do.
The reason I am asking is because when I was into headphones many years ago I remember a plug in in foobar could make surround effect. I was just wondering if a similar thing exist for speakers.
well things like that exist but they wont make it sound like things are around you, they just add electronic echo's, your really mucrh better off not using things like that.
