Currently own the super.fi pro's and it's my first iem. Looking to see what else is out there. Would the shure e4's be an upgrade? I listen to all types of music from jazz to hip hop to metal, and I'm happy with the current level of bass on the super.fi

Thanks.

If you're currently happy, then why change?

I personally thing anything, short of the iBuds, an upgrade to the Super.fi's, which I hated with a passion.

E4s are ok, but wouldnt be my choice. Ety's are the way to go.

If he is happy with the current level of bass with the super.fi, he probably wouldn't like the Etys, although I personally love their bass presentation. There isn't a huge amount of bass (only as much as the recording itself has, seeing as the Etys have a flat bass response), but it goes down all the way to around -4db at 10hz, much deeper than any of us can hear.
