Hi everyone! I'm obviously fairly new around here - have had quite a few mp3 players & headphones but I'm really looking to up my setup in terms of SQ now.
I've gone for MS1's and I am very close to ordering a cowon d2.I just want suggestions in terms of a headphone amp as I have never had a compact before! my requirements:
- Small, as close to d2 as possible
- Cheap (I'm a student)
- Possibly two inputs - although maybe i could just use a splitter as I can control volume of both music and roland v-drum inputs?
- And yes I have roland v-drums and want something that will compliment that as well as my ms1's and d2.
Going for punchy, well balanced sound - best soundstage possible. the v-drums produce a surprisingly wide range of frequencies and I particularly need the snare to crack in the mids.
