Hey, I'm new to the headphones scene, just looking for a good set of cans for just relaxing listening to music for fun.

I don't want something too analytical, but I want something with a warm sound signature and a very full amount of bass.

I did a good deal of reading, coming up with three decent options right now.

1. Beyer DT 770 Pro 80ohm
2. Denon D2000/1000
3. Beyer DT 150

What do you guys think of these options? If anyone has anything else they'd like to recommend, please feel free.

PS: Maybe also something that would benefit well from recabling because I would like to recable whatever I get.

Thanks,

Sorry for forgetting such essential things.

My budget for headphones OR headphones + amp would be $200.
I would want a home amp, not a portable one, because I like to keep my portable setup as portable as possible.

My headphones would be plugged into my motherboard or my Sony mp3 player.
I could use an amp if needed, but prefer not to. (Which is maybe why I have the three choices the way I have them, haha)

Thanks.

You need to get the HFI-780, it makes the bass of the 3 phones you are considering look like turd. Ok, maybe that's a bit too much, but the HFI-780's bass is a class above its peers.

chronicali the D2000 is way out of that price range otherwise from what I heard a good option. DT 770 PRO 80 ohms is very fun and fit the bill precisely. But my Proline 750 runs all over it as well will the D2000 I assume. You do get what you pay for. But well I wouldn´t cry a river if I would be doomed to the DT 770 PRO 80 ohms for the rest of my life. As much as I love the 750 I can still enjoy the DT 770 PRO:s.

Haven´t tried the 780 but yes if it´s anywhere near the PRoline 750s bass it should be a LOT better.
