Well,I have just recently joined(as u can sure well see!!) Head-Fi coz I was advised by friends to seek the experts' guidance from here

.

As u might have guessed(and even if u haven't

), I'm from India.

Disclaimer: If the post looks too flashy, forgive me,I only wanted to make it easier to find out the important points.

Of late,I've been bitten by the balanced armature technology driven earphone(IEM) bug

I can't afford the likes of Weston, Shure, Brainwavz B2, Logitech Ultimate ears Triple Fi etc etc...

However,I still remain the "value conscious" typical Indian consumer (

:duh:!!)...and am only willing to part with 3.5-4K rupees (~$90) of cash for taking care of the itch

For the record,I already own Brainwavz M4, AudioTechnica ATH-T500,and the diminutive Creative EP-630

Also, there is the Fiio E6 Amp.

With a little research,I've shortlisted the following:

1. SoundMAGIC PL50

It is available @ebay.in for @2.3K($50)....also maybe bought locally(will try to sound that out).

Also available @MP4Nation @$54.5..Shipping free

(also might get $5 discount from them)

2. MEElectronics A151

Will cost me $74.99+ (anything from $28-32

for a tracked shipping to India) (Total about $105)

Searched ebay.in,found cart2india selling it for around 4.7K($88) (cart2india is similar to shopnship, only its managed by ebay.in itself)

3. Sunrise Sw-Xcape Impressive Edition

Can buy it from Lendmeurears website @$78+$4 shipping.

Is Lendmeurears a good place to buy from?

4. DUNU DN-13 "Crius"

Can be bought for $62.5 @MP4Nation with free shipping(also may get $5 discount).

5. Creative Aurvana 2 in ear

Available in ebay.in with cart2india/20north @6.7K-7.2K($122-130)

Do please point out any other suitable chioce in my budget(including shipping

)

My sound preference

Bass: Should not be too bass heavy, but it should not be absent either...punchy notes would do fine
smile.gif

Mids: forward vocals, with a laid back presentation,Crisp presentation is the key

Treble: Should not to be too bright or overpowering....

What I listen to

Vocals(Soundtrack)
Electronica
Instrumentals
Rock

Please advise me where to put the money.
Though it might seem that the PL50 is a foregone conclusion, yet please comment and advise. Any other suggestion is also welcome

The Etymotic HF3, Sony EX510, EX310, JVC FXC51 are highly recommendex and they all offers clear forward vocals with great mids and good bass response with clear highs.
