Hi I'm looking to be done with my onboard audio and headphone jack which only feeds one speaker half the time. My budget is around $100. These will be going to my Audioengine A5's.

I use this soundcard with A5s and find it to be just fine. The soundcard has a separate headphone output that can drive inefficient phones. It has a top quality DAC chip.

Other brand names to consider: Auzentech, ASUS, E-MU. Other people can add their favotites.
