I was looking for a desktop balanced headphone amplifier that would not cross or be near the $600 range. I saw a few after market ones but would like to try and compile a more concise list of the currently available units that have a low MSRP. 
 
Anyone got any recommendations? Is my budget too low?

I've not heard/owned it, but Musical Fidelity has a balanced V90 amplifier that should fit within that budget.

Don't see any speaker connections, or mention of speakers, and it specifically says "balanced headphone amplifier" a few times:

my bad, found the wrong thing. 
 
I cannot seem to get to the page to find it from a North American Reseller.

Get in on the Liquid Carbon before they are sold out. Fully balanced and it's a Cavalli!!!
