Can get these headphone preamps locally with the Stello being about $250 AUD more expensive. Can anyone justify whether the Stello is worth the extra $$?

I doubt ppl out there have listened to both, but I can't tell from the specs whether one would be better. I'm using K701s as cans and an NAD C355 BEE (main in bypassing the preamp) driving Quad 11L2 bookshelves.

Previously, I did try using a Shanling PH300 (which has the identical setup, preamp out with two inputs) into the NAD and got a little too much tube buzz through the Quads. So buying the Vincent could cause the same problem.

Any help/tips much appreciated, cheers.

Yes I have read that this is a good pairing with the K701, but it doesn't have preamp functionality for two sources & I can't really audition it.

Would it be advisable to buy the Vincent amp and then spend the difference on some decent tubes?
