Just a different take on the plastic 3d printed spacer you can purchase to give your ears a little more room.
Made from stained oak.
Fortunately giving some decent sonic benefits too unlike the plastic versions I used.
Percussion instruments and detailing excellent, a more solid performance.

Had to slightly revise the ports due not been able to live the distinctly unstaxlike bass. Thunderous is the word I'd describe it has.
The foam inserts have done the trick.

Only built them for an experiment after borrowing a friends stax L 700.
My sr507 were a little bright even driven with the SRM TIS amp so the wooden spacers helped a lot while keeping all the stax speed and timing.
Nothing in it between them with the foam in vents now, first open ported version wasn't great after ten minutes, fun at first.
Was looking at buying a pair of SR 007 MKI but I feared an amp changed would definitely be needed to get the best out them so modded the 507s instead.
