The leather headband on my STAX SR-Lambda Nova Classic was in pretty poor shape so I looked into replacing it. A replacement is $130 USD at Audio Cubes II. It's probably the entire headband assembly including the plastic part.
I took the original STAX leather headband to a shoe/leather repair guy and he made me one for a very reasonable price.
Here's a pic from the FS ad for the Novas (didn't want to sell them with the ratty looking headband).

It's not perfect but it was handmade, looks quite good & will last for years.
