I'm looking to grab one of these, but I don't know much about stax. This would be my first full electrostatic phone. So would one you guys think sounds better?

I have both and I love both, but the Nova is more technically accurate, with tighter bass and a less exaggerated treble. The difference isn't night and day, however, so don't sweat the decision unnecessarily. On a quick listen, the Pro sounds better. It's only after you've listened awhile that you notice that the Nova has things more under control.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. Since there isn't a huge difference, I decided to go with the pros. They were about 65.00 cheaper. I'll have enough left over to get some new pads.
